I am trying to gain an understanding of the relationship between voting precincts and counties. There is also the concept of a district, which I have read about. I am not sure how that fits in.

The mapping feature currently on http://vawhigs.org/home/content/virginia-map, will zoom into regions, which will have clickable counties. It is possible that we should take this the next step and zoom to counties, then districts and then precincts. Then we could show election data for each election at the precinct level.

Additionally, the Virginia Whig party is currently planning on having county chairs for each county. The major parties have precinct captains, perhaps we should plan to organize accordingly.
